• clustering a no-go, too complicated for what we need to do
• toby says we may want to change to mysql table types
• possibility for IT to maintain the mysql setup, labs team would need to create specs
• need to get numbers for how many people are using webdav, so we can have a timeline for discontinuing support for it [anant]
• we will use mysql slaves on the server cluster
• need doc for what we want to monitor

LDAP

• Master LDAP server replicates to cluster master
• cluster master replicates to proxy nodes
• code needs to handle replication lag failures
