Wikipedia's 10th anniversary

On January 15th, the free encyclopedia anyone can edit will turn ten years old, and we want you to celebrate with us!

Come learn how the Wikimedia Foundation (the non-profit behind the site) is planning to support a global network of parties, hackathons, barnraisings, and other events to commemorate Wikipedia's first decade.

This session needs: editors, donors, and readers of Wikipedia who would like to attend or organize a birthday party. Anyone who has organized distributed events before.

We'd like to discuss: what events are already planned, the activities you can participate in, how they can be improved, event best practices, the cool merch you can get, and what you can do if you just want to join in online.

Basically, we want to hear your ideas for making Wikipedia's 10th anniversary fun and memorable.
