Checklist

  • One week before
    • Submit an Air Mozilla event request
    • Create an etherpad agenda
    • Email the Engagement leads asking them to add agenda items to the etherpad
    • Post to Engagement Basecamp site with etherpad agenda and ask for people to add items
  • 1-2 days before
    • Confirm AV support with Air Mozilla team
    • Follow up with speakers on the agenda to get their slides
    • Compile all slides that will be shown from your computer
    • Delegate two people to help. One person to monitor #engagement for questions and technical issues and another person to take notes on etherpad.
  • Day of the meeting
    • Arrive 30 minutes early to get set up and test Air Mozilla stream
  • After the meeting
    • Reply to the Basecamp thread

Ideas for next meeting

  • Cover the lightning talks at the beginning of the meeting. New order: Announcements, lightning talks, updates (strategy/product/waves).
  • Limit all speakers to 3 minutes unless there is a special topic that needs more time. Enforce the time limit with an onscreen timer.
