Summary

This session will be to brainstorm ideas for an external metrics/stats dashboard. A great example of a dashboard site can be found at PhishTank's Stats Page.

Agenda

• Brainstorm ideas for an external metrics dashboard to enlighten and assist the Mozilla development community.
• Discuss what metrics would be be appropriate for the community.
• Talk about ways for the community to report market share metrics to Mozilla, which would in turn be compiled and published externally. Can this be facilitated through an Apache mod or log scripts that we develop, RSS feed, etc.
• Discuss opportunities to create cutting edge visualizations for community activities such as bug reporting or forum posts, global maps that highlight Mozilla downloads, etc. Some interesting data visualization examples in the wild include:
