• Syd is working on WebRTC testing wrt connection negotiation on different networks, building out infrastructure necessary

Owner: Jason (CAF doing testing)

• No updates here
• Jason to update on CAF progress and any bugs we need to be aware of
  • CAF complaining about - https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1016359 or https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=989945 ? Need to double check with Shell which bug CAF is concerned about.

MSISDN

Owner: Martijn Wargers

• Ramped up on Martijn on what needs to be done here
• Server: Peter/Jbo
  • edwong - I got client test working - not sure if it's using phone number to auth - not printed to logcat

Performance

Owner: Geo Mealer (FxOS) [need a co-owner]

• still need to find an owner for desktop/platform performance
• session quality testing is taking a priority with focus on desktop/platform first
• need to figure out what the scope of this is for Q3

Privileged API

Owner: Jason Smith

• Triaging incoming regressions from privileged API feature work from test runs
• Need to work through formal feature testing here
• Feature work might miss 6/20, need to chase Shell down on this

Tokbox

Owner: Nils Ohlmeier

• dmose is working on getting super basic functional tests of the desktop loop client up and running.
• platform devs are trying to get useful failure logs files from TokBox

Desktop

Owner: Anthony Hughes

• Now have a copy of Tokbox's test plan -- aligning testing to cover any gaps
• Currently developing some Moztrap smoketests so people can start dogfooding and filing bugs
• Services - proof of concept OAuth for Authentication on Desktop, Oauth server is at alpha quality

Firefox OS

Owner: Jason Smith

• TEF Update - test plan is complete, having trouble doing a lot of E2E testing since most of the mobile client is done

Server

Scalability

Owner: James Bonacci

• Stage and Prod stacks are up (sort of)
  • Loop-Server Stage is up with latest code, Loop-Server Prod is up but out-of-date
  • Loop-Client Stage needs a roll, Loop-Client Prod is not up
  • MSISDN-Gateway Stage needs a roll, MSISDN-Gateway is not up
  • Call Prod is in progress
• Loop-Server load testing is ongoing this week and next
• MSISDN-Gateway load testing is on hold pending a new release
• [edwong] can we get dates on when stage/prod MSISDN servers need to be up?
  • supposedly by end of June
• Also, we have lost contact with the Toxbox perf servers - this is being investigated (servers down, firewall up, something else?)

API

• starting on a test plan, testing API endpoints using command line (via cURL), and verifying existing Node.js server tests (and coverage).

Firefox Accounts Integration

• FxOS on track for feature complete July 22
• Desktop - OAuth targetting July 22 test complete

Private Build/Repository

• this section can be removed -- code will be checked in to mozilla-central going forward

• Devs working on desktop client working from private repository due to Tokbox requirements

  • "soon" - target is for 32
  • Something else being used instead of Simple Push temporarily
  • Simple Push target is for Fx34
  • Fx33 something else being used as temporary solution
