News

Note items here that you want to be sure the community is aware of. We won't rehash what's listed here, but may raise and discuss questions about these items.

  • (sheppy) Toolbar changes are gradually underway! First pass:
    • Added keyboard shortcut: Ctrl-Shift-K (Cmd-Shift-K) removes the link in which the cursor currently is located.
    • Added keyboard shortcut: Ctrl-0 (Cmd-0) removes formatting from the selected text.
    • Removed two unwanted styles from the style drop-down menu.
  • (sheppy) Toolbar update work will be continuing gradually for a while -- please add any ideas to https://etherpad.mozilla.org/mdn-editor-toolbar
  • (jswisher) Reminder to nominate people who have done significant contributions for the MDN Star badge.
  • (jswisher) Will B, Mark G, and I were at Write the Docs, North America in Portland, Oregon. We had a lot of new contributors during the "Writing Day" on Sunday. Video of my talk and slides.
  • (dianeb / diane tate who may be late) Announcing our first-ever MDN Fellows! Tweet them a warm welcome.

Miscellaneous

Anything else we need to discuss synchronously?

  • Who will moderate the next meeting?
    • Saurabh (jsx) has volunteered. Woot!
