Summary: I want to build a mobile HTML5 app for the Mozilla Marketplace, but what kind of apps should I build and what marketing can I do to promote my app?

This presentation will give Mozillians a first-hand account of what kind of apps are currently on the Firefox Marketplace, what kind of apps we are looking for in terms of quality and category and what kind of apps are in highest demand in our FxOS launch markets.

The presentation will also educate our communities on how Mozilla plans to promote the Marketplace and teach developers how to best take advantage of their own marketing and communication channels to promote their apps.

How your session furthers the MozCamp Goals (https://wiki.mozilla.org/MozCampAsia2012/Tracks): Tied into the B2G / Marketplace goals by increasing the number of apps we have on the marketplace in key need categories.

Expected Outcome or Deliverable: Energize and inform Developers in our Mozillian Communities to build apps for the Firefox Marketplace. The presentation will also help them to be successful as possible in choosing what kind of apps to build for the Firefox Marketplace and how best to promote their apps through many effective marketing channels.
