How are you currently involved with the community?: Speakers, IT-Volunteers, Mozilla Community Sites Volunteers, Project NeMo translator & RLL, Mozilla Reps, Marketing Volunteer.

Location of Work (where do you reside?): Pune, India

Talk Length (please choose between 30, 60, 90, 120 minutes): 30 minutes.

Summary: This session takes the audience through an introduction on how to initiate a new community and the various roles one can play in spreading the word. How to generate community interest by bringing people together, bringing in a feeling of a family and working as a team to nurture and guide new members.

How your session furthers the MozCamp Goals: Grow community-led initiatives and initiate newer vibrant communities all around the globe.

Expected Outcome or Deliverable: Strengthen existing communities and grow interests among people from areas where there are no communities to initiate initiate their own communities.

Desired Audience Type or Skill-set: Audience need not be too tech savvy. People who appreciate and understand the Mozilla mission and with the willingness to work in communities would be a plus.
