PFS:ApprovalPolicy

This is a draft of an approval policy for the Plug-in Finder Service (PFS).

• Similar to how AMO works, assign a few people from the community to be editors (like, amo-editors@mozilla.org)
• Plugins must meet the "do no harm criteria" - they can't be malicious (steal info, etc..)
  • Plugin must be described, named, have a contact owner, etc...
  • What does the plugin do?
• Plugins must meet some technical criteria
  • Work on platforms that they are supposed to support
  • Submission must includes examples of where editors can try it out so that they can test it
  • Do they need a code review of some sort?
• In general, most plugins are allowed thru except in cases where they are malicious
