Discussion Items
- [Florin] We currently have a lot of bugs pending verification on Beta 34 and in the Sprint. Given higher priority work for this week and the next, we think about treating Bug Verification with lower priority, and pay more attention only to the more critical bugs. Due to this we may have to push multiple fixes for verification until later. Agreed. I am pretty sure I marked too many bugs for verification during the iteration period in Nightly in 34. - lizzard.
- [Florin] Do we intend to have Hello in 33.1? Will Anthony be managing this?
- Hello is not part of 33.1. It is on Beta 34 (throttled so only some users see it) and will be soft-launched in 34 to go slowly with/test server load.
- P2 item in the test plan under Priorities is just for confidence in the feature for marketing. Anthony is leading that. as part of regular process for beta.

Project Updates
- Loop (Anthony)
- E2E testing strategy discussions on-going
- 34: we're down to 8 blockers - https://wiki.mozilla.org/QA/Loop/Firefox_34/Beta#Blockers
- these should all be fairly low risk uplifts to Beta
- if you report a bug that you think should block enabling Loop in release then please set the blocking-loop flag
- E10S (Juan)
- Will have a testplan outline for e10s (working with Liz on this) by the end of the week.
- Decision to go-no-go as default in nightly will happen Nov 3
- 33.1 (Tracy)
- Dogfooding program announced yesterday by Bob Moss. https://wiki.mozilla.org/QA/Firefox/Alder_Dogfooding We're already getting plenty of results for the first test challenge on Tiles.
- Developer Edition (KaiRo)
- Still lots of ongoing discussion around the profile changes.
- We will need some testing of those, the theme and devtools, probably on gum
- Metrics / Dashboards (KaiRo)
- Missed out on adding new iteration and train for 36 early last week, but there should not be too high an impact as it was the first few days.

Security
Automation (whimboo)
- General
- Teodor Druta has joined the SV automation team
- Mozmill
- Last week we had the Mozmill CI training - the recording will be made available in a blog post soon
- We are experiencing again a lot of Flash crashes - work is in progress to revert the installations to the debug version (see bug 1083130)
- We upgraded Jenkins on staging to version 1.565.3 and expect a lot of improvements especially for memory leaks ( https://github.com/mozilla/mozmill-ci/issues/496 )
- For release and beta builds the blacklist is active now ( https://github.com/mozilla/mozmill-ci/commit/b5be34d69f586cde13597e2ee6397287365bf23e )
- We need a new version for Mozmill to be able to run all of our tests on OS X 10.10, and also to completely disable the e10s popup
- Mozmill to Marionette transition project has been started: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Auto-tools/Projects/m21s
- Tests
- 6 P1 bugs fixed last week
- Mapping almost done, we'll keep the document up to date from now on. Next sprint will start with regression coverage, will file the bugs this week
Stability
- Lots of pain around 33 release stability - fixes for graphics/startup issues should be in 33.0.1, hopefully working fix for shutdown issue in 33.0.2 (if that will be done).
