• [Florin] 33.1 feature status:
  • Forget Button + DDG - OK
  • Tabbed Browser - additional fixes targeted for 33.1 build 3 - estimated Friday
  • Privacy Tour - not yet live (verified demo) - estimated mid-to-end week
  • What's New page - final page not ready yet - estimated mid-to-end week
• [Florin] Aurora new feature status:
  • Dark Theme - quite some work left
  • Profile handling - 1 fix needed for Beta - verification + final testing due for Friday... also there seems to be an issue with one of the fixes
  • Connect to webkit & blink browsers + Firebug.next - trying to finish testing by tomorrow

• • Timeline - pretty much done and in good shape
  • Beta promo - tested and found a few visual issues (commented in bug)
  • Tracking protection - pretty much covered - need to get the UI in
  • First Run - no implementation yet
• [Florin] Friday may be a very busy day on Desktop: 33.1 build3, 33.0.3, 34 Beta 7, Testday, Feature work. Plan for Friday as we see it now:
  • 33.1 + 33.0.3 - Web Compatibility + WebGL + any bug verification if possible
  • 34 Beta 7 - Sanity check (Web Compatibility)... same as we did for 34 Beta 5
  • Loop smoke testing on Beta would likely have to be pushed to next week (hopefully Beta 8)... thoughts/concerns on this? Should we include it in the Beta 7 testday as main focus point? Could the contributors (at least partially) cover this to have some results sooner?
  • Feature work - some features may be available for final testing only on Friday. Potential candidates are:
    • Privacy Tour + What's New page
    • Aurora Dark Theme
    • Aurora profile handling
  • [ioanachiorean] Mobile team can help around - at least 2 persons - let us know if you guys need more assistance/support.

Automation (whimboo)

• General

• Mozmill
  • Currently we are facing strange behavior with Mozilla Pulse due to networking issues (Pulsetranslator fails to publish normalized messages)
  • VMware tools were outdated or even not installed on a lot of VMs - all are updated now
  • Ubuntu 14.04 machines are coming up shortly
  • Test case examples are getting created by Henrik to show what's missing in Marionette

• Tests
  • Andrei did testruns for the gum branch, filed Bug 1093631 for a test failure, needs investigation
  • 3 new tests landed, another to follow soon, other 3 in final patches
  • 5 test failures are blocked/disabled until mozmill 2.0.9 is in production
  • if there are any important fixes needed for mciconf, please let us know

Stability

• startup crash fix bug 1064107 landed for 33.0.3 / 33.1build3, bug 1021265 also approved
• More gfx issues on other channels:
  • 34 beta mobile: bug 1049138
  • 35 Aurora: bug 1091903
  • 36 Nightly: bug 1089364
