Each Gadget will be run in a separate OS process. Upon installation, the Jetpack will auto-create a shortcut for the Gadget in the Start Menu > Programs > Firefox Gadgets directory as well as an entry in the Jetpack Gadget Launcher (see screenshot for details).
Outstanding Issues:
One of the most important and difficult questions the developer charged with creating the Gadget API must resolve, is how to effectively and fluidly add and remove Gadgets from various locations on the user's computer, start-up a Gadget (shortcut target modification that includes a jetpack Gadget param?), and what the UI and user flow is for modifying settings and other Jetpack Gadget management tasks.
