Each Gadget will be run in a separate OS process. Upon installation, the Jetpack will auto-create a shortcut for the Gadget in the Start Menu > Programs > Firefox Gadgets directory as well as an entry in the Jetpack Gadget Launcher (see screenshot for details).
Outstanding Issues: One of the most important and difficult questions the developer charged with creating the Gadget API must resolve, is how to effectively and fluidly * How will a user add and remove Gadgets from , and subsequently, have such actions propogate to the various Gadget shortcut locations on the user's computer, * What method will we use to start-up a Gadget (shortcut target modification that includes a jetpack Jetpack Gadget param?), and what * What is the UI and user -flow is for modifying settings and other Jetpack Gadget management tasks.
