'''DonGato's comment:''' some extensions are not *FREE*, if this is allowed it should be also clearly stated at the description.

Categories are used to help users navigate the collection of add-ons more narrowly, such that they are better able to find an add-on that will suit their current need.  Add-ons should be categorized according to the major capability provided by the add-on.  In the vast majority of cases this means that an add-on should be in only one or two categories.

Add-ons which represent a bundle of largely-unrelated functionality will need to decide which of their features is most worthy of labelling via a category.  An extension that provides a way to encrypt bookmarks so that they could be shared on a specific forum would be primarily a "site-specific" add-on, and should be categorized appropriately.

(We could add a "grab-bag" category for extensions like the Conduit-based toolbars which provide everything ranging from a "pop-up blocker" to RSS feeds, with many stops in between.)

'''DonGato's comment:''' I think 5 categories is too much. I think 3 is already ok as a limit for remora.

'''DonGato's comment:''' currently a statement of data collection is added to the description at user discretion. This shouldn't be left as this and should be handled by Mozilla AMO reviewers alone. This statement should be prominent (bold and red maybe) and put at the top of the description.

'''DonGato's comments:'''
* there are other proposals for the rating system. Currently some developers delete all negative comments. This shouldn't happen and failure to take negative comments shouldn't be allowed. I don't know the best way to handle this but there are comments of eBay's system at mozillaZine general forum.
* there might be a need for a notification about the rating system not being the place for feature requests or bug reports, but as we miss such feature at AMO I don't know how would be the handle of such things. I'm actually using a reference to a mozillaZine forum thread but not everybody will take the work of doing so.

Failure to respond to messages from AMO staff, or to act in a timely manner on requests for fixes to significant issues (especially those related to security or application stability) may result in an add-on being marked inactive or removed from certain listings, having warning text added to the description, or having the add-on removed from the site altogether.

'''DonGato's comment:''' currently extension bumping by slightly changing the description is happening. I know remora will fix that, but as you can always leave other places for abusing I think that a clear statement about such thing should be added to the policy. That might be called "Creator responsibility".
