Who Are ReMo Student Advisers?

ReMo Advisers are Mozilla Reps who are interested in helping Firefox Student Ambassadors with the resources & trainings they need to start contributing to Mozilla and growing as a member of the Mozilla Community!

ReMo Advisers act as the first point of Contact for Firefox Student Ambassadors to answer to their basic queries related to Mozilla as well as helping them with the required steps and resources to get started.

Mozilla Reps Advisers can help Student Ambassadors to learn new skills, earn recognition, and advance their leadership in the Mozilla community.

How do Reps become Student Advisers?

The Student Working Group (the Rep-composed leadership body of the Firefox Student Ambassador program) will be soliciting interest from 1-2 Reps (starting off) in each region of the world who are interested/knowledgeable about the Firefox Student Ambassador program and would like to serve as Student Advisers. These Reps must fill out an application to become a Student Adviser and be approved by the Working Group. The first Adviser term will be from September - December 2013.

The application to become a Student Adviser will be available in the beginning of August. We are currently looking for Advisers from North America, South America, Europe, Africa, India, and Asia.

Why someone would want an Adviser?

If you are new to the Mozilla Community, or would like to grow in your participation, we recommend that you reach out to an adviser in your region to help guide you. These advisers can not only provide you with helpful information, but can point you towards additional information, resources, and serve as a advocate for your work in the community. They are your gateway towards growing as a Mozillian!
