Got a question about users who come to Firefox Support? Need to know how users are reacting to a feature change/support issue? Ask here and then ping someone in #sumo or #sumodev and we'll have answers soon.

QA

• Link crash signatures back to forum/chat threads
  • This will allow us to quickly find more threads from users with certain crashes.
• Common issues and what causes them
  • Figure out how to get test coverage on those issues.
  • Figure out what users were trying to do in each instance to see which parts of the code are executed. (I think we just have to write something up?...)

Platform

• Twitter throbber gets stuck when posting using Firefox
  • How many users are seeing this? bug 510985
• How bad is the bookmarks loss after 3.5.2 updating? Can we get a sample profile to do STRs with?

Evangelism

• Track usage of vulnerable Flash plugins
• Track bad plugins/indicator plugins for the Up Your Plug page

Marketing

• How many users are coming from download.html on mozilla.com to SUMO?
  • We need to track users from the Firefox post-download page and see what resources they're most interested in.
  • Status: in progress. We've cloned the start page and need to decide on a URL so we can start tracking these users bug 510341
• Give feedback on School of Firefox... what do users most need to "learn" to use Firefox better?
  • Status: Mostly done, will read over content once it's written but the major feedback is done.
  • Make a SUMO video also to teach them how to use SUMO to get help
