Integration?

How is Firebug supposed to be integrated into Firefox? As a replacement for DOMi and the Error Console? As a shipped but optional add-on like DOMi currently is? Or as a build option (disabled by default)? --zeniko 02:25, 24 May 2007 (PDT)

Firebug is available as Firefox extension from http://getfirebug.com/releases.

Firebug does not replace anything, its an addition to Firefox. --Johnjbarton 09:59, 7 March 2008 (PST)

Accessibility?

What about Firebug's accessibility? DOMi and the Error Console are quite easy to use without a mouse -- most functionality is available through a menu, through accesskeys or through tabbing. This is not the case for Firebug (which BTW doesn't even seem to use a "native"/XUL tree nor tabs and thus looks slightly out of place as well). -zeniko 02:25, 24 May 2007 (PDT)

Firebug is 100% XUL + HTML. We would welcome contributions on to improving Firebug's keyboard controls.

Alt+Tab Issue Section Change

I've moved the Alt Tab issue from "Non Issue" to the "Potential Issue" section. I think this was the right course of action but as I said, definately should not be under non-issue as it is a problem.-cracky
