Demo

  • Let's create a KB article on staging i.e. support.allizom.org, for production, just change allizom to mozilla :-)
  • For this demo, we will create a fictional article for Thunderbird desktop :-)

Steps:

  • Title: Thunderbird for Desktop and Wunderbar
  • Slug: use auto-generated slug
  • Category: How to
  • Products: Thunderbird
  • Topics: Email and Messaging, Send and receive email, How To, Learn the Basics. Get Started, Settings <-- The list of topics (Confluence page on taxonomy for staff only, I will try and find an open version) is intimidating for newcomers. Don't worry! Make your best guess and please don't hesitate to ask in the #tb-support crew Matrix room or email MZLA staff expert (i.e. Roland or Wayne)
  • Untick: "Allow discussion on this article?" <-- Always use github issues (TB Desktop, TB Android) for discussions. There are 140 MZLA articles and 1400+ in total. Therefore it is impossible to track 1400 support forum
  • Keywords: IMAP SMTP Wunderbar
  • Search result Summary: How to configure Wunderbar in Thunderbird for Desktop including IMAP and SMTP Settings

NOTE: always save your content in a text editor before copying and pasting into SUMO because Kitsune could crash and you could lose your changes!

  • 3. We will fill in the content field as follows (collapsed to make this page shorter!):
[[Template:UKLGEarlyBirdInviteOnly]]
