Hard to review because...

Important: don't immediately deny extensions because they require other software or pay-only site accounts. If you note the extension has been waiting for review for a long time because nobody wants to/can review it, then feel free to use the standard denials below.

The extension requires uncommon external (and/or paid) software

I'm sorry, but I'm denying your extension because it needs uncommon external software in order to work, and as we don't have access to this software we are not likely to be able to review it any time soon. It has been in the queue for <some time> now, and I thought it would be bad to leave you without feedback any longer.

The extension requires (paid) membership to some external site

I'm sorry, but I'm denying your extension because it requires membership to external sites in order to work, and as we don't have the resources to get such site access we are not likely to be able to review it any time soon. It has been in the queue for <some time> now, and I thought it would be bad to leave you without feedback any longer.

Problems with the description

If you need to go to the author's website to figure out what an extension is supposed to do, then that's bad. Please deny for those cases, but remember to be polite!

The extension has an unclear description

I'm sorry, but I'm denying your extension because from the description, I can't tell what your extension is supposed to do, or how it would be useful to users visiting AMO. Could you please try resubmitting it with a clearer description? (Previews help too!)
