Searching getsatisfaction is not always a great experience - returning too many hits (digging through them wastes time) or not enough. Searching on tags can help here, because many topics have tags and tag searches typically return far fewer results of higher quality (because it doesn't search topic bodies).

But

1. searching one tag may give too many results, and gsfn tag search is limited to a single tag http://getsatisfaction.com/mozilla_messaging/tags/netbook
2. few people construct single word tags, nor use the most simple form of words, eg with netbook, netbooks, linux netbooks, etc. but gsfn changes http://getsatisfaction.com/mozilla_messaging/tags/*netbook* ... it changes it to /tags/netbook

So there are two needs

1. search on multiple tags
2. regexp searches of tags

an example compound search might be

index* AND windows 7

Ideally one would like to be able to search tags plus additional data. But having advanced tag search alone will be a great improvement.
