Extension packs

• Offer to install extension packs while installing
• Extension package manager (similar in concept to an Apt front end, searchable)

Automatic updates in LINUX

• Allow a non-root user to update (if a root password is needed, ask for it). In the current version, a non-root user doesn't even get notified that an update is available.
• Allow a non-root user to deploy extensions system-wide

- okay first this is just plain stupid, the writer doesn't have a clue about linux.

- second this has nothing to do with ff and everything to do with "LINUX BEING A TRUE MULTIUSER OS". this will never happen because it CANNOT happen so stop asking for this dipshit idea and learn WHY it cannot happen. mmmmkay?

- third, installing/running firefox from your local home directory is already possible and trivial. extract the tar and run the binary. to update, delete the directory you have ff extracted to, download updated version extract to another dir. done, faster simpler easier than anything anywhere. god how dumb are people.

- what firefox needs is a magic extension that can autodetect dipshits and stop them from actually publishing retarded ideas like this to the internet.

Internationalization

Automatic installer (RPM and/or MSI)

• Provide an automatic way of installation, supported by Mozilla (support means that mozilla would release the binaries).
