Who Are ReMo Student Advisers?
ReMo Advisers are Mozilla Reps who are interested in helping Firefox Student Ambassadors with the resources & trainings they need to start contributing to Mozilla and growing as a member of the Mozilla Community!
ReMo Advisers act as the first point of Contact for Firefox Student Ambassadors to answer to their basic queries related to Mozilla as well as helping them with the required steps and resources to get started.
Mozilla Reps Advisers can help Student Ambassadors to learn new skills, earn recognition, and advance their leadership in the Mozilla community.
How do Reps become Student Advisers?
The Student Working Group (the Rep-composed leadership body of the Firefox Student Ambassador program) will be soliciting interest from 1-2 Reps (starting off) in each region of the world to serve as Student Advisers. Tasks of Student Advisers
Once a Firefox Student Ambassador has completed their [first five tasks] as a member of the program, if they wish to progress further, they will be instructed to reach out to you with evidence that they have completed these tasks.
- Gear/Gudget/Event collaboration
- Vouch them on Mozillians.org
- Provide them with a certificate of identification
- Reward them with an open badge (which they could display on their Mozillians profile)
- Provide them guidance and mentoring when needed
- Invite them to the Reps program(when they are ready)
- They can also help/guide in organizing a productive structure for events/activities hosted by the FSAs
- They should be able to have a list of registered FSAs in their region who opt-in to being contacted by other Mozillians
- They help Connecting FSAs with the Reps in their region
- They contact Club Leads with nearest Rep details
