Known incidents

Desktop Launcher in 145.0 fails to start on Windows 10 old builds
Description:	In the 145 release, the Firefox desktop shortcut (Firefox.lnk) is replaced with the new Desktop Launcher application (Firefox.exe) on the users' desktops. The Desktop Launcher relies on a library supported on Windows 10 only from version 1607 (14393) or later that has been updated since March 2025. Users with older/unupdated Windows 10 versions will see a failure if they try to use their desktop shortcuts.
