Firefox 109 release

Desktop V109 (Jan 17)

• Delete items listed in Firefox View - The Recently Closed section of Firefox View now equips users with the ability to manually close/remove url links from the list.
• Changes to colorways - coloways will not longer be in Firefox but will still be accessible via add-ons and themes page
• Unified extensions Button - Name change pending
• Manifest V3 extension support now enabled by default

Android V109 (Jan 17)

• Mostly Bug fixes
  • In fullscreen video, swiping will no longer trigger the address bar (#27346)
  • Firefox now shows an undo option when removing a pinned site (#7924)
  • Handle the Android 11+ ask every time for camera permissions when scanning QR codes (#27228)
  • Search engines are now updated immediately when changing languages (#27753)
  • Fixed a crash that happened with large clipboard contents and the address bar (#27538)

• Capture full-page screenshots - Firefox now supports taking full page screenshots to save them as PDFs
• Bug Fixes
  • Deleting an inactive tab scrolls back to the beginning of the Inactive Tabs list.
  • Users can't remove the homepage shortcut.
  • A recently closed panel is not accessible after closing a tab.
  • Pinned Tabs do not show on the new tab page.
