Now
Firefox 3.6.x / 3.5.x
- primary focus is shipping out of process plugins to our Firefox 3.6 users
- also due for a security and stability update
Upcoming Releases
- Schedule is still TBD, will likely send an updated one today (depends on issues solidifying)
- Landed 5 fixes yesterday, fixing 4 blockers (and a wanted non-blocker). Thanks bsmedberg and jimm!
- 4 open blockers:
- Bug 558986
- Message deadlock between COM/OLE and Firefox/plugin-container messages
- bsmedberg knows what is going on but not how to fix it
- Ehsan has looked at it / is helping out
- Bug 564260
- Has a fix, waiting on review
- Initial review mentions the fix is scary
- Bug 561818
- Follow-on to a bug we fixed in build 3
- Needs more investigation/STR
- Looks like it only happens on slow machines
- Bug 564389
- Not a Firefox problem, but tracking until resolution
- Said they are whitelisting the files early this week
- Did an ALE request as well
- Need to do this again if we rebuild

- Have builds finished and available to test here

Support/QA
- QA: We'll verify the bugs that landed yesterday and try to find older hardware to investigate bug 561818
- Support: SUMO report went out just now because apparently I just sent it to sumo-report-admin (ie me) rather than to the list. D'oh!

- (dougt) khuey (INTERN) has started on investigating the Camera work in progress and related specs.
- (dougt) Geolocation Working Group: Google submitted a specification to the geo working group for acceleration and orientation events. It looks good. They will implement it in the android browser.
