Grow Mozilla helps all Mozillians achieve crazy and ambitious goals by bringing people into the project, increasing the skills of community members and expanding our culture as we grow larger.

The following programs and tools provided by the Contributor Engagement and People teams help to build a global, inclusive force of paid and volunteer contributors to fulfill Mozilla's mission.

Meetings

If you are interested in growing Mozilla, please join us for the regular Grow Mozilla meetings every other Thursday at 10 AM pacific.

Tools and Platform

The tools that support Grow Mozilla include:

  • The Phonebook makes the Mozilla contributor base feel smaller by creating an easy way to learn who is involved, what they do and how to connect with them.
  • The Taskboard platform will uplift basic introductory tasks (and, in the future, jobs) across all sub-communities into a public-facing list of activities which are sortable and filterable list.
  • The Events Manager platform will show and allow Mozillians to join online/offline events via a public-facing list.
