How is the machine loan work going? we came up with the idea to use a VM to install and start slaveapi in order to test the aws_create_instance.py script. We managed to install it, but had issues starting it so we sent an e-mail to Callek with our questions the conclusion reached is that it’s not necessary to use a local slaveapi for that as we already have two servers running a prod and a dev slaveapi Callek also showed us how we can issue commands from the shell we are now testing to see if the above mentioned script works and if there are any changes that need to be done on slaveapi for that Jordan is the one who wrote slaveapi and he said that he can help us to get this working if necessary

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1235851 updated the bug with the services found https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1169480 having some issues creating a b-2008-ec2 instance, error received: “ERROR - b-2008-ec2-ewong.build.releng.use1.mozilla.com has no DNS entry” the inventory entries look. talked to :grenade, tried his create_instance.sh script, still got the same errors
- grenade will give a try himself
SlaveLoan in progress we manage to create aws ec2 instance from api. we will continue to integrate in releng api
