Opening: A Drumbeat Festival How-to Guide in 10 Acts, plus mini-keynotes by Mitchell Baker

The kick off plenary will give you a quick tour of the tents and other spaces where all the Drumbeat action will be happening. It will also include two brief opening keynotes: Mozilla's Mitchell Baker will answer 'where is the web going and why should educators care?' and Duke's Cathy Davidson will answer 'where is education going and how will it shape the web?' The aim: spark ideas that will fuel the building, learning and playing in the two days ahead.
