Major New Desktop Features status

    • Investigated an issue involving the stub installer - http://bugzil.la/1190351; turns out to be a bug affecting all Windows versions, as the stub will not pin the application to the task bar in specific conditions.
  • [Bogdan] Hello - Text Chat (Fx 41) (read only)
    • No updates - Bogdan on PTO
  • [Ica] Add-ons Signing (Fx 41)
    • Feature looks good
    • There are still present a few Ui issues related to simultaneous doorhangers display


  • [Paul] Control Center (Fx 42)
    • no updates, continued with bugs verification

  • Sync issues found in yesterday's b8 testing were server-side and should be resolved.
    • (Andrei) Great! Cornel confirmed the fix for this issue this morning.

Aurora (Fx 42) (Desktop - KaiRo Mobile - Ioana/Kevin)

  • e10s will be disabled on 42 this week, will be enabled again on 43 dev edition

Security

Automation (whimboo)

  • Both staging and production Jenkins masters have been replaced with Ubuntu 14.04 64bit to hopefully fix the Java crashes
  • Major issues with aborted builds which keep Firefox running - if you run tests please never abort but let them finish even with failures
