Previous Action Items

  • [mschifer] to follow up with Platform/Automation re: WebGL automation coverage (so we can catch issues like bug 975824 more easily). WebGL test suties available, not kept up/disabled, Marc to talk to them about how we can help them. [done]
    • Meeting scheduled for Tuesday 9am

Discussion Items

[existed in Fx28 as well not current regression, targeted to be addressed Fx30 currently]

Channel Status

Beta (Fx 30) (Tracy/KaiRo)

  • Beta1 in QA for release tomorrow.

Aurora (Fx 31) (Anthony/Liz)

Nightly (Fx 32) (Juan/Kamil)

ESR (Fx 24.5)

  • Launched!

Security

Automation

  • Kamil and Nils started to help out with the merges for mozmill-tests
  • The issue with the remaining TPS test (Bug 990509) seems to be due to Bug 1003250 - Disable automatic sync for TPS tests
  • JSbridge disconnect issue (bug 994658) found culprit (security.dialog_enable_delay", 250), working on a regression window now. Increasing the timeout seems to alleviate the problem.

Stability

  • 29 looks pretty good so far, crash rate on beta went down to pre-29 levels with the RC being shipped to beta.
  • GGC crashes on 31 are being tracked, looks like devs are pretty much on top of things

Community

  • lizzard: GNOME-OPW interns starting in mid-may, Maja Frydrychowicz (One and Done, python coding, from Montreal) and Francesca Ciceri (Desktop triage, community building, from Italy)
