Currently Active Projects

Account Management Portal (Toby)

Basically done. Has the following outstanding tasks:

  • Talking with Tarek to figure out our overall strategy with regards to the sreg split.
  • Awaiting review (Tarek?)
  • Could use a little css/text/design love
  • Has a dependency on the python server core

We'll probably need to monkeypatch Beaker for a little while to handle passwords securely. Or, I suspect, use the filesystem rather than memcache for sessions.

Node Management (Toby)

Same as every week. Up to ops to want to make it a priority.

Next-gen Server (Tarek)

  • adding more logs to the server for easy troubleshooting
  • fixing a few bugs this week
  • testing json php/python data

Identity Server (Tarek/JR)

  • Revised spec due this week from thunder
  • Preliminary server stress test done. Full stress test (including LDAP) for this week.
  • Start of Add'l documentation for configuration and deployment.

Firefox Home 1.next (Stefan)

We will probably do a 1.1.1 bug fix release.

Beyond that is undecided. Ongoing disucssion. More concrete plan should happen soonish. Will probably include portable C-based sync library.

App performance issues due to Places

  • sdwilsh working on history APIs

Places GUID revamp (sdwilsh)

  • landed with places branch

Fx4 Sync Blockers (philipp/rnewman)

  • Current count 22, reviews pending on a bunch (mconnor)

Upcoming Projects

Account Manager (rnewman)

  • Revised spec due this week from thunder

Web-facing ID pages

  • Fallback for browsers/clients without Account Manager enabled
