	Matt Evans has had over 20 years experience in the Software testing ~~profession~~. ~~Starting out as test engineer in data communications area, Matt's~~ career spans establishing QA efforts in small startups to running Test Engineering departments in large public companies. Matt has recently taken on the ~~role~~ of Mozilla QA Director and is diving into the world of open source development and testing. Prior to Mozilla, ~~Matt~~ was the QA Director at Palm where he managed the quality program for WebOS Applications and Services on the Palm Pre smartphone. He was ~~also~~ Director of Engineering Services at Agitar Software ~~that~~ pioneered automated test generation from Java source code. Matt holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science and lives in San Jose, Ca with his wife and son. When not getting out the latest release, Matt tries to spend ~~most of~~ his time up in the beautiful California Sierras and enjoy the family cabin near Donner Lake, CA.
