== Instructions for Firefox 3 ==

After discovering that the old instructions didn't work for me with Firefox 3, I went ahead and added a new set of steps for manual updating. This may not be the best way to do it; I'm not a Firefox dev, so I'm not really sure. (Edit boldly, right?) My questions would be the following:
* How do you invoke the updater without running Firefox? Is it as simple as just running
updater.exe
after placing the MAR in the right place?
* Does this method of manual updating have any side effects which should be noted?
* Are any side effects bad enough that we should remove these instructions altogether?
