'''Talk Length (please choose between 30, 60, 90, 120 minutes):''' 90 or 120 minutes
Ideally we would have a room set aside for both days where people could come to get help with their projects along with answers to any questions they might have (or just hang out between sessions). We could start with a scheduled session early on the first day (30 or 60 minutes) to introduce the concept, but otherwise it should be a very hands-on, ongoing process.

If that's not possible, perhaps two 120-minute sessions, one on each day (something like that).
'''Summary:'''<br>
Earlier this year we launched the revamped mozilla.org homepage based on our new Sandstone website style. Now we're ready to introduce the One Mozilla style guide, which includes all the information you need to use Sandstone on your community sites. The guide also outlines the rules and best practices surrounding our brands, products and how we communicate. At the same time, we'll be making all the assets you need available in a brand new assets repository.

Summary:
Come learn about the One Mozilla style guide, what it includes and how you can put it to work for you and your community through demonstrations and examples. Topics will include tips on adapting the Sandstone style, designing for responsive layouts (for mobile devices) and generally localizing your designs beyond just translating the copy. In particular, we'll be covering the most common questions and concerns we've heard (but please bring your own as well).
We would like people to come with questions and projects they'd like help with. The goal isn't to complete projects for them, but to give them the tools to empower and enable them to complete them on their own. The workshop would be made up of design demonstrations, demos and discussions about current and past work.

Topics would include the new Sandstone layout for websites and how to implement it; tips on responsive design (for mobile devices); the new One Mozilla Style Guide and related assets repository, including how people could use them in their own projects; etc.
'''How your session furthers the MozCamp Goals''' (https://wiki.mozilla.org/MozCampEU2012/Tracks):<br>
This falls under both the Grow Mozilla and Mobile + Desktop tracks. Empowering and bringing in new designers helps grow the Creative Team, while creating better localized pages helps with our download and retention goals.

We would also bring a project or projects that people could start (and perhaps complete) while at MozCamp. One example would be to localize the new Firefox download page that will be up, beyond just changing the copy (i.e. update it with local community imagery, like the Indonesian community did with our current download page: https://www.mozilla.org/id/firefox/new/).
'''Expected Outcome or Deliverable:'''<br>
We'll reach out to the community ahead of time to ask for stories, questions, concerns or other issues people have had adapting the Sandstone style. We'll then focus on those to give participants a better understanding of how to use Sandstone (and other parts of the style guide), including how they can customize it for their own needs. In turn, we'll walk away with a better understanding of the challenges people have faced (and the questions they've had) and use those to inform future additions and revisions to the style guide and assets repository.

We'd also like to make the room (or area) an overall creative space where people could work on projects offline (buttons, T-shirts, stickers, crafts, etc.) between other sessions.
'''Desired Audience Type or Skill-set:'''<br>
Designers, localizers and anyone looking to learn more about creative (design in particular) and how it applies to furthering the mission in their local community

Expected Outcome or Deliverable:
Presentation slides: http://people.mozilla.com/~smartell/mozcamp/Warsaw-2012/localizing-design.pdf
Participants would leave with a completed Web page(s) or other asset(s) to help further Mozilla and their community goals; or with the tools and knowledge to create those pages or assets in the future

Desired Audience Type or Skill-set:
Creative IRC channel: #fistbump
Designers, localizers and anyone looking to learn more about creative and how it applies to furthering the mission in their local community

Equipment Needs (Video projector already included):
--------------------------------------------------------------------
A couple of computers (iMacs, maybe?) that people could work on (with Adobe Creative Suite installed) would be a nice-to-have, in case people don't have their own or don't have the software (they could also use these to browse the One Mozilla Style Guide and/or assets repository)
