*Mozilla invites you to push the limits of what gaming looks like on the web and to build hackable games; games that let their players remix, fork and share to their hearts' content.  
* Mozilla Game On is a competition from Mozilla, the global non-profit community and makers of Firefox.
* Game On reflects Mozilla's commitment to investing in bleeding edge gaming technologies and use games to teach digital literacy and webmaking.
* We are calling all developers, designers, youth and educators to build the next generation of web based games.


<li><strong>Project goals</strong>:<br><br>
<b>Build the Next Generation of Web Based Games.</b>
1)Re-imagine <strong>the Web as the (gaming) platform</strong>; and create the tools for games that like the web itself are hackable by design. <br>
* Re-imagine the Web as the console;  
2)Move from <strong>consumption to creation</strong>. Mozilla is asking you not only to play games but to start hacking them to make your own;<br>
* Use the power of the web to revolutionize the way we make and play games. 
3)<strong>Foster diversity</strong> in games for different  audiences; that represent who players are and what they like.<br>
* Invent new game mechanics, create new story lines, engage diverse audiences and introduce aesthetically challenging content.
4)Use games to <strong>teach digital literacy and webmaking</strong>. Bake in coding skills as gamers make, remix and play.<br>
* Make games that can be played on your desktop, on your phone, on your tablet with tools like the new Firefox OS.
5)<strong>Invite the world to make their own amazing games on the web; </strong>
* Design play that like the web itself is hackable by design. Games that let you pull assets and data from across the web into your game world. Games that let you remix, fork and share to your heart’s content.
**At the <strong>Mozilla Festival's Game Arcade</strong>; to play with new bleeding edge game  technologies and meet people who love making and hacking games as much  as you do.
