I would say for the vast majority of bugs not having memcache will not make much difference, only if your fixing memcache specific problems or running performance test will it be necessary to have it installed. [booker] Is it complex to set up? no, you have to sudo aptitude install memcached .. and then .. sudo aptitude install php5-memcache and open port 11211 for localhost (going from memory) [booker]
