Install Firefox from Firefox site
Open Telugu language Pack from

and install.
Default telugu font for menu and content appears too small. It is also half the size of corresponding English
 
To change, Right click on Desktop, Select Properties
Goto Appearance tab, select advanced
In that select item "menu"
Below select font size as 20
Select item "message box"
Below select font size as 20
Select apply
 
Start Firefox.

The default font selection makes telugu menus not readable. A screen shot is given below.

Note: If you are already using Telugu interface pack for WindowsXP, you will see improved match between telugu font sizes and english font sizes. For a screen shot see [[Media: Firefox_winxp_telugu_lpi.png]]
 
==లినక్స్ Linux installation==
The official  build from Mozilla does not render telugu, as it is not built with Pango enabled. Fedora is not supporting 2.x versions. Remi Collet is providing rpms for fedora core 4, 5, 6, users.

Users should first uninstall firefox 1.5.0 or older versions completely before installing Remi's rpm. Once firefox is working, Telugu language pack should be installed as given in windows installation section and the locale should be changed to Telugu te-IN. Then the Firefox is to be restarted.
