Mozilla Drumbeat is a vehicle to identify, seed and resource projects that will make the internet more open, participatory and innovative.
To this end the Drumbeat website should connect community members and activists with projects that that they might be interested in contributing towards and help make real. In rare instances, Mozilla may decide a challenge is sufficiently important that it will provide direct funding and resources to it and even manage it directly.
