What we're up to | |||
We care about teaching the world the web. | |||
To further that goal, we're convening a group of learners to become Webmaker Mentors. They'll learn to hack teaching materials, plan events, and support one another. | |||
But these learners need help. That's where you come in. | |||
As someone experienced in teaching the web, running events and/or creating teaching materials, you are a Webmaker Super Mentor. | |||
In an online course from May 2 - June 30, we invite you, Super Mentors, to help train new Mentors. | |||
The course is called "Teach the Web", and it will be run like a "MOOC", which is an open, collaborative learning format online. | |||
We aim to have 500+ learners in the course, teamed up with 50+ Super Mentors. | |||
From today until April 30, we invite you to help shape this course. | |||
We're all learning how to teach the web together. | |||
This call will explain how you can bring your experiences, lessons and hacks into the course, so that more people know how to make the web and how to teach others. | |||
