Overview

Firefox Monitor is a project with two main components:

• In-product features (initially a Firefox system add-on) to notify our users of breaches
• A website service for learning about data breaches, globally

Add-on Install

Firefox Monitor is available as a [1]. To activate it, you need to set some additional prefs in about:config

• extensions.fxmonitor.enabled = true

Success

• Effective cross discipline teams solving problems across platforms
• Validation of key assumptions through metrics and user interviews
• Activity Stream in the hands of all our users
• Users have easy access to their favorite things in Firefox and therefore spend more time using it
