: SeaMonkey 1.0a was the first release. The Second Release will be SM 1.0b (hopefully in the near feature). This all will lead to SeaMonkey 1.0 (uses Gecko 1.8). The builds can be found as "latest-branch". The Next Version (SM 1.1) will be from Gecko 1.9 they are "latest-trunk". ... Only as short information. -- Alexander Opitz (opi) 12:09, 4 Nov 2005 (PST)
: (removed to reduce confusion, was to late last night.) ... There are no real informations about Second Release (a.k.a. SM 1.1 or 1.5). At first we need to fiddle a real First Release. -- Alexander Opitz (opi) 12:09, 4 Nov 2005 (PST)

::No, the term "first release" has always meant SeaMonkey 1.0. The term "first release" was originally used because at the time the name and version number of the first release was unknown. The term "second release" refers to the next major release of SeaMonkey, which will be created off the current trunk. Sorry it's so confusing; maybe someone can clean up the terminology so it's not as confusing. -- Schapel 05:04, 5 Nov 2005 (PST)
