Some users report that Sunbird 0.3 doesn't open if installed over previous version. Try the following steps to fix the issue:

Go to Sunbird program folder (default '%ProgramFiles%\Mozilla Sunbird')
Delete all files left over from previous installations.

Go to Sunbird profile folder (default '%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Sunbird\Profiles\<profilename>')
Delete the created files 'compreg.dat' and 'xpti.dat'.

Gehe zum Sunbird Programmverzeichnis (meist '%ProgramFiles%\Mozilla Sunbird')
Lösche alle Dateien die noch von vorherigen Versionen übrig geblieben sind.

Gehe zum Sunbird Profilverzeichnis (meist '%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Sunbird\Profiles\<profilename>')
Lösche die beiden Dateien 'compreg.dat' und 'xpti.dat'.
