- In last minute move before finalized sale to Microsoft, Nokia launches Android phone - The graphic in this article is making the rounds currently, with people expressing surprise at Android's dominance. It's important to remember that this chart represents shipments of all Android devices, from the $27 devices through the $600+. Apple targets a very specific, and very lucrative, demographic, and its apparent declining market share should be viewed with that in mind (it's a threat, but Apple continues to be very, very profitable).
