  • Ran top site testing for 1.8 for Windows, Mac, Linux using 3900 urls provided from Robert Accettura. [alice]

• Tools and Infrastructure
  • With help from dougt got Annie's test framework to generate reports [alice]
  • Working on buildbot-based test runner. It is up and running on mac and windows. [davel]
  • Fixing make check. bug 352305 caused make check to fail in tools/test-harness/xpcshell-simple/example. Investigated short-term (patch in bug) and long term (bug TBA) fixes [davel]

• Community
  • Bug day Oct 26th: 3 participants in East Asia, 4 in Europe. This is slowly growing! [Tracy]
  • FFx2 RC2 community test day is planned for this Friday

Product Management and Marketing Updates

Developer Relations

• Dria: Working with Seneca on various projects including Newsgroup summaries, XULRunner documentation, some MDC-related PHP hackery.
• Sheppy: Done with Firefox 2 developer documentation. Investigating needs for Thunderbird 2 documentation, and working on other articles that need doing.

Webdev, Add-ons, AMO

• Looking at a later AMO v3 launch date, with an interim solution for the 2.0 launch
• Visit last week was good - worked on build database w/ preed and build team
• This week will be focused entirely on forming more specific Remora milestones and further development

  • 6 translations merged in
  • Staging server getting setup
