Mozfest 2014
This is the sister page to http://2014.mozillafestival.org/ where people can find the answers to their questions about travel, suggest venues to hold fringe events and share local London recommendations such as restaurants and pubs. If you want to be more involved in the festival in areas such as the Science Fair, or have any questions, please let the festival team know at festival@mozilla.org
Festival information
Mozilla festival opens on the 24th of October and runs through until later Sunday, the 26th of October. Held for the 4th year in a row at Ravensbourne College on the Greenwich Pennsula. The College is on the Jubilee tube line and easily accessible from Grennwich town itself or by Clipper boat along the Thames river.
Mozfest officially opens at 18:00 on Friday for registration and the Science Fair.
The science fair is a chance for participating groups to set up a booth and share with the wandering audience what their organisation is really about.
Saturday and Sunday will open each morning with Opening Circle and then the focus is Sessions, Sessions and more Sessions. The weekends schedule will be released the week preceeding the festival.
Saturday starts at 10am with coffee and a light breakfast and we will close the day after some Key notes around 18pm. There will be a local party on the Saturday night, Karaoke guaranteed. Sunday sessions will begin after 11am key notes. Lunch is provided onsite for all attendees and there will be plenty of coffee to keep everyone sprinting over the weekend.
Sunday night closes the festival weekend with a Demo party where selected sessions will demo what they built over the weekend.
