Balrog/Testing

Balrog is not in production yet for the Release channel. If you'd like to help test in the meantime, make the following pref changes in about:config:

• Set app.update.url.override to

https://aus4.mozilla.org/update/3/%PRODUCT%/%VERSION%/%BUILD_ID%/%BUILD_TARGET%/%LOCALE%/%CHANNEL%/%OS_VERSION%/%DISTRIBUTION%/%DISTRIBUTION_VERSION%/update.xml (or aus4-dev.allizom.org for testing against dev).

• Set app.update.log to True

Trouble Shooting

Not being offered updates

1. Ensure app.update.log is True
2. Request an update again
3. Save off the log, and your value of app.update.url.override, and talk to the developers.
