How to Update Plugin Data
Current process:
- File a bug with proposed update
- Webdev will update the plugin info files in SVN
- IT updates these files in production and import them into the plugins database
Proposed process (pending plugin directory launch):
- Security team is responsible for updating plugin data using plugin directory (just a stage site right now)
Changes for Flash
- File a mozilla.com bug to update the flash checker version
- Webdev can push updated file to production
