Introduction

Below you will find the functionality I deem important to be implemented in a new version of firefox to make Firefox your "Future Online Desktop".

These are an overview of my personal ideas and some synthesis of ideas of other persons.

Please not that for the moment I only drafted some ideas, and have not made decent sentences out of them.

User Profile Log-in

only if you want to: default user login, without saved passwords next to homepage a key password, let system be able to login automatically to your "Firefox Account" (Cf. Hotmail account, etc, enable to save most important settings) + session time-out

Saved Passwords Protection

better security, not just being able to do "show passwords" require master password to view these, and do not ask everytime for master password when being on the site.

Ability to save settings and bookmarks online

Let these be saved, maybe even on own webpage enter link into user profile so that synchronisation occurs some kind of password protection (online bookmark-file (xml-based file))

Save the package with your own extensions as well with these. Make your own package of extensions. ([reference http://wiki.mozilla.org/User_talk:Autodmc#Lean_and_Mean_vs._Super_Install])

Comments about google suite,jotspot,zoho

open thunderbird as a tab

right click, save files to online folder, able to determine which

links not on webpage, but as some kind of toolbar

extensions are applications out of menu

no more platform dependency, cf java, bye bye M$oft

Online directory providers.

Exporting of settings
