Fennec Native] Beta Readiness Review

Approval/Disapproval Needed By: January 30, 2012

Bug Metrics - State Summary, Find/Fix Rate Present a summary of the Bug State information (or provide a GMRR URL to Bug Central).

Bug Metrics - Blocker Detail List the blocking bugs that must be fixed for the Final Candidate build.


Bug Metrics - Deferred Bugs List the most worrisome bugs that are being deferred. List critical deferred bugs that may have AppleCare Support impact, or which should be considered for a Software Update. Explain why each bug isn't being or can't be fixed.

Features Summary Summarize new features that ship with this release

Approved SW Update Text (SW Update Only) Provide the text that will go in the SW Update screen that already approved by Marketing.

Test Coverage Summarize the test coverage status for each functional area. Please note % level of completion of these items (the goal is assumed to be 100%). Note the number of days required to satisfy the goal of 100% completion. If the goal is not 100% then state the goal.

Automatic SW Update Minimum Quality Checklist Include this line item if the product will be distributed via the automated SW updates method.


Reliability List the reliability criteria defined for the project. State results of reliability testing (measured against the criteria).

Performance List the performance criteria defined for the project. State results of performance testing (measured against the criteria).


Activities and Deliverables State which of the following activities and deliverables have been completed. If not completed, note how many days are required to complete the effort.

Note: For all Software updates posted via the Automatic Software Update method please determine with Marketing if the localization requirement is 'Urgent', 'Required' or 'Not Required' and state this in the email Review. All SW updates categorized as 'Urgent' and 'Required' will be localized in Tier 1 languages. Tier 2 requirements must be determined by Marketing and included in this email Review as well.

Note: L&RE must be contacted and requested to begin preparing the plan and associated budget for this release prior to sending this email Review.


Marketing Intro Plan Please include the Introduction date, the means by which the product will be introduced, any pricing information, and distribution channel plans.


Service and Support Readiness Provide status with respect to the Readiness criteria. Include the estimated costs to support the product for the first 3 months.

Issues and Risks State any outstanding issues and/or risks.
