Skia Summit

We want to hold a meeting with the Skia developers to discuss Mozilla's integration of Skia and work going forward.

Time and place to be decided.

  • Determine what mobile GPUs are being targeted
  • Mozilla contribution to Skia
  • Tiled render targets with Skia/OpenGL
  • Loop-blinn?
  • Runtime detection of NEON support
  • Possible commit access for Mozilla developers
  • Any point in versioning the API?
  • Any automated testing in place for mobile GPUs?
  • Standalone test framework for Skia
  • Lots of Gecko reftests are currently failing by a single bit
